How it works
Every single DNS request within your organization is forwarded to the Secutec SecureDNS server where it will check the domain reputation of the requested URL against the Secutec Integrated Anti-Malware Database (SIAM). Without latency or extra processing time.
(The Secutec Integrated Advanced Malware Database (SIAM) is a cyber threat intelligence database that brings together information from a variety of sources. It is the beating heart of the Secutec SecureDNS solution and is updated 24/7/365 to protect users from threats before they become dangerous. By checking outgoing DNS requests against the SIAM database, malicious domains are automatically blocked, giving viruses, ransomware and phishing attacks no chance to trigger dangerous payloads.)

- CERT feeds: Thanks to our exclusive collaboration with the Belgian Federal Cyber Emergency Response Team (CERT), we have access to information of about 20,000 suspicious local URLs per day. We exchange information about local cyberattacks with the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB).
- Honeypot service: Attracting attackers to log in and execute commands or download malware, our honeypot network consists of 16 data centers and 400 machines.
- Newly seen domains: Up to 70% of all newly registered domains are used for cybercrime . That's why we block new domains for 24 hours, giving us the time to analyze them properly and recategorize when needed.
