Seven important announcements at Secutec Security Summit 2026
Winter is fast approaching, and the cyber climate in our country is also becoming somewhat darker, given the recent cyber attacks on the military intelligence service and several telecom operators. From our Security Operations Center (SOC) in Aartselaar, we are indeed seeing a sharp increase in the number of attacks.
Artificial intelligence plays a major role in this, giving attackers new options. Fortunately, we are also continuously strengthening our defenses on the right side of the spectrum. At our recent Security Summit, we were able to announce no fewer than six product updates, plus an event we are very excited about: CyberNova.
SecureSIGHT update: multi-layered cybersecurity as a managed service
In addition to SecureDNS, SecureSIGHT, a security platform that allows customers to optimally integrate their various cyber defense tools, is one of our most important innovations. This integration is essential to address current security trends and challenges in a multi-layered defense. For example, if our XDR (Extended Detection & Response) tools detect that a password stealer has infiltrated the network, we immediately disable it and automatically reset passwords via the M365 Security Kit.
SecureSIGHT consists of various modules that we offer as a managed service for prevention, detection, response, and validation. With SecureSIGHT, Secutec brings together the best suppliers in each field. Our SOC continuously collects information about potential attacks, adds context to the reports we receive, and ultimately responds appropriately for customers with new security measures.
MySecutec: a SOC in your pocket
With MySecutec, we are introducing the most innovative thing we have ever done. This new Exposure Management Portal informs security managers in real time about the cyber health of all their installations and will be launched at the end of 2025, including an app and widget with security alerts.
It is a virtual Security Operations Center with a clear and intuitive dashboard that brings together all essential security data such as assets, reports, threats, and accepted risks in one place. Customers can set up push notifications in the app to respond quickly to the most critical vulnerabilities. They can monitor the risk level of assets and manage threats. MySecutec colors your cybersecurity status green, orange, or red—wherever you are.
What's more, we can have this portal up and running for our customers in less than 24 hours.
CTI Feed: Secutec makes organizations untraceable for darknet search engines
Just as Google indexes web content, legitimate internet scanners also map the infrastructure behind IP addresses. They help, for example, to detect and secure printers connected to the internet. However, cybercriminals also use such tools as search engines to find potential targets as soon as zero-day vulnerabilities become known.
Our new Cyber Threat Intelligence Feed is an information tool that updates firewalls every four hours with a list of malicious IP addresses and domains. One of the feeds specifically blocks incoming traffic from internet scanners, making customers invisible to such tools. While the cybercriminal tries to gain access elsewhere, an organization can quickly patch new vulnerabilities, or at least patch them 'virtually'.
BAPS: together with the CCB, we don't give phishing a chance
BAPS (Belgian Anti-Phishing Shield) is an initiative of the Center for Cybersecurity Belgium. The CCB continuously receives information about potentially malicious websites. These suspicious domains are then thoroughly analyzed to determine whether they pose a real threat to internet users.
When a website is confirmed as dangerous, it is added to a central list that is forwarded by the CCB to internet service providers (ISPs). When an internet user clicks on a link that leads to such a malicious website, the ISP automatically checks whether the domain in question appears on this list.
If the website is indeed marked as malicious, the user will not be granted access. Instead, a clear warning page will appear indicating that the site is unsafe.
BAPS has been added as an additional source to SecureDNS and activated for Belgian customers.
Adchain: we are fighting fraudulent internet advertising
Secutec has developed a tool that detects and disables fake and fraudulent online advertisements on Meta and Google. Users can forward the malvertisements detected by our Adchain tool directly to Meta and Google. In addition, these are automatically added to BAPS, which in turn passes them on to internet providers. They can then block the malicious links behind the malvertisements.
In Belgium alone, €100 million was lost to online fraud last year, and across Europe, this figure rose to €12.28 billion in financial fraud. We are therefore proud that we are protecting consumers in our country under the radar with new tools, and that we are also helping affected companies that fall victim to impersonation. The results can be consulted via the Adchain portal, supplemented by a daily report.
Data Breach Monitoring
Stolen data often circulates on the dark web for months before a data breach is officially discovered. This leads to reputational damage and greatly increased risks via third parties.
That is why we distinguish between two forms of monitoring: Darknet Monitoring (DNM) and Data Breach Monitoring (DBM). DNM proactively tracks whether there is any chatter about your organization or whether your organization's data is being traded on the dark web, while DBM checks whether your company appears in already published data dumps.
With our DBM, you can set up to 2,000 search terms. The engine downloads and processes about 20 TB of data from all darknet platforms every week and gives real-time alerts when there's a match. A clear dashboard shows what was found, where, how serious it is, and what actions are recommended.
The result: faster detection, less damage, better compliance, and stronger risk management for suppliers—fully scalable and with minimal effort.
CyberNova: an appointment with cyber history
CyberNova is a new cybersecurity concept that we are launching together with the SuperNova inspiration festival. With CyberNova, we want to be the catalyst for an international ecosystem for digital security and strong collaborations. After all, hackers mainly choose the path of least resistance, and there is a lot of activity on the dark web. Every week, the question arises in the industry: 'Who's next?', and in our opinion, governments and organizations need to work more closely together.
Several top speakers—both national and international—will be present at CyberNova in Antwerp's Waagnatie on March 24, 2026. We expect more than a thousand tech entrepreneurs, researchers, cybersecurity specialists, decision-makers, and cybersecurity suppliers to attend. It will be a date with Belgian cyber history, so don't miss it!
